So after a couple of years of hard graft I treated myself to a new van.
I like my van to be super organised to help me work more efficiently and keep my stress levels down when i'm on site - I often have to nip back to the van to pick up bits so I wanted to get the best racking setup.
I had ply in my old van but fancied a change so researched van racking and decided Bott Smartvan - Van Racking for tradesmen like me would be perf...
September 18th is the start of Gas Safety Week 2017, I have collaborated with Vaillant, Plumbcenter and some top social media influencers and organised a Gas Safety Road Trip, the aim is simple, to raise awareness of Gas Safety Week and have a bit of fun at the same time.
We will be driving around the midlands visiting branches of Plumbcenter and also making calls to Gas Engineers from Vaillant HQ, talking all things Gas Safe...
Exciting news this week, it was announced that I will have my own stand at PHEX show this year. I will be running a skill game for people to get involved in and a chance to win great prizes. There will also be a live twitter feed on a screen, helping me to promote the industry and have some fun with people.
I'm really looking forward to it, you can read about it and register for the show here.
What a great couple of days, it started with an epic drive up to Edinburgh, picking up Andy Cam on the way and a stop over at Ryan Mills house.
We then travelled across to Glasgow for the show, and what a show it was! It didn't have the numbers that Coventry had but remember it was its first year, next year will be bigger and better, i'm sure of it.
There was lots going on, lots to see and do and as always, people to meet.
Today saw the second mission completed by the Heroes Of Heat. We travelled to the 35th Wistaston Scout Hut in Crewe, where they had raised money over the last 4 years to build a new scout hut but needed some help getting the plumbing and heating sorted out.
Thanks to our sponsors and the team of 15 plumbers and heating engineers, the scout hut now has a new viessman combi boiler, 11 radiators and flushing toilets and was...
On 21st and 22nd September I will be attending the UK's only dedicated Tool show for Tradespeople. Toolfair will be held at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry and showcases the leading tool brands available for the trade. I will be walking around wide-eyed and seeing what the show has to offer and sharing some of my favourite tools and maybe even doing some live reviews on my social media channel.
I was lucky enough to be invited to the first ever charity install by Jonathon Hallam, the founder of Heroes of Heat.
I donated a days labour and drove to chesterfield to Monkey Park, a community centre in desperate need of a new heating system. A group of engineers hand selected by Jonathon all met up on the day to get the job done, materials all donated by companys such as Viessman, Plumbase and Spirotech to name a few.
